This lecture will not offer an exhaustive approach to the life and work of Niki de Saint Phalle. Instead, it will focus on the artistic context in which Niki de Saint Phalle began her career, starting with two exhibitions that marked the beginning of her "revolt at work": "Feu à volonté", Galerie J in 1961, and "Nanas Power", Galerie Alexandre Iolas, 1965.
